Senior Associate, CrossBoundary
Kirtika Challa is part of CrossBoundary’s Lagos office where she is a member of the investment advisory team. As part of the USAID Power Africa Program CrossBoundary is the off-grid transaction advisor for the Nigeria Power Sector Program (NPSP). CB is working with off-grid energy developers to assist with fundraising and business strategy and with qualified investors to provide opportunity validation, due diligence, investment structuring, and other transaction support services. CrossBoundary’s aim is to facilitate transactions that increase the number of off-grid connections and power available in the country. Kartika is currently leading the effort in supporting Nigeria’s Rural Electrification Agency in raising upfront financing alongside several development grant/subsidy programs for mini-grids in Nigeria.
Ms. Challa holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School and a BA in Economics and Engineering Studies from Lafayette College. Prior to joining CrossBoundary Ms. Challa worked at Morgan Stanley’s headquarters in New York as a trader and in Corporate Finance. Additionally, during her MBA, she was a summer associate in two different parts of the World Bank, the Energy at Extractives Industry group at MIGA and the Global Infrastructure Fund of the IFC’s Asset Management Company.
